Moreno Lelis
Founder & Head Surf Coach
Some people find surfing. Moreno Lelis was born into it. Growing up on the sun-drenched coast of Brazil, he had sand between his toes before he could walk — and a surfboard under his arm by the age of five.
What started as a kid chasing waves quickly turned into a lifelong obsession (the good kind). By 15, Moreno was already coaching, competing, and traveling the world in search of the perfect break. Along the way, he discovered something even more rewarding than catching the perfect wave — helping others catch theirs.
After years of coaching surfers of all levels — from wide-eyed beginners who've never touched a board to seasoned riders looking to level up — Moreno created LELIS Surf Trip. His mission? To prove that anyone, regardless of age or experience, can learn to surf and fall in love with the ocean. With his infectious energy, patient teaching style, and deep respect for the sea, Moreno doesn't just teach you how to surf — he shows you a whole new way to experience life. Because at the end of the day, it's not just about standing on a board. It's about standing up for the life you deserve.
